# Uurf

In the sprawling cosmos of Odyssey, the planet Uurf serves as the quintessential starting point for many adventurers, a world as diverse in its landscapes as it is rich in opportunity and danger. Known for its dramatic geographical contrasts and proximity to *the Portal*, Uurf is a planet where explorers can witness the harmony of nature's extremes.

Uurf's terrain varies wildly, from the icy peaks that pierce its thin atmosphere to the sprawling deserts that singe under the twin suns. Among its most renowned landscapes are the Caster Cliffs and the George Steppe, each offering unique challenges and treasures.

The Caster Cliffs, towering rock formations carved by the relentless winds over millennia, are a sight to behold. The Cliffs are riddled with caves that hold ancient artifacts left by a bygone civilization, making them a prime location for those brave enough to delve into their depths.

In stark contrast lies the George Steppe, an endless expanse of rocky plains. The Steppe is known for its icy soil and is a vital mining hub that supplies resources to much of Uurf.

Uurf’s role as the starting point in Odyssey is not by chance but by design, as it offers a microcosm of the wider universe's wonders and dangers. It's a place where fledgling adventurers can test their mettle, forge alliances, and prepare for the even greater challenges that lie beyond its borders.
